WAS JUSTIN BIEBER REFERRING TO GOD OR TO A GIRL?
I just saw the video of Justin Bieber's new song “where are you now" and it kept me wondering all night. The video is okey by it graphics though more could have been done but it's like I said Okey. Nevertheless, that's not where I wanna draw your attention to, I've heard the song lots of times but wasn't really into the lyrics even before I saw the video. The first time I heard it I fell in love with that I had to download it right there and then--- I could remember it was at night on the radio, even listened to it all night on reply, the following week I choreographer to the song.
Like I earlier said am not really the lyric kind of person, I have this problem of not getting a song lyrics whilst listening to it because am more of the instrumental person, the beats and the rhythms. This is why I can't sing any song from the beginning to the ending, i barely even know a complete chorus to any song. So, like I was saying, i choreographer to the song and then I saw someone else's piece on it like a week after and that's when I started going into the song lyrics.
In the second verse of the song according to the dance piece, there was a part where the dancers knelt down and put there palms together like they were praying. I was like, “is this what I think it is". Then I went back to the song's second verse and found out that the dancers were actually correct with there moves, that particular line did say, “And I was on my knees when nobody else was praying', oh lord" Ya, it said that. Now, I don't know if he was just singing to a girl or if he was really referring to God back there. I mean, we had a case of Chris Brown singing about the devil in “fallen angels" like he was singing to a lady, about how she was maltreated and wasn't given a second chance whereas he was referring to the devil saying, “she's my fallen again... ". So what if this is the same case scenario, what if Bieber is saying God wasn't there when he needed him---maybe it was when he was in prison meaning He's unfaithful, what if Bieber was referring to God?
Truth is I don't know, but what I know is that we have to check that song lyrics again and try connecting it to that phrase “oh lord" and see if it blaspheming or just a song. Ya, i know the song has other lyrics and those one can also be checked, you may not see it from where am standing so I'll suggest you double check and give me your opinion on this matter. You can also see the video on YouTube to get a better knowledge of the song's interpretation.
